CHURCH CAMPUS
The Columbarium
Memorials and Memorial Gifts have added greatly to the beauty and comfort of Holy Nativity. By 1962, a Columbarium and Memorial Garden had been added on the makai (ocean) side of the church. Subject to current policy and approval by the Vestry, inurnment in the Memorial Garden is available to present or past communicants of Holy Nativity; members of their immediate family; any member of the Episcopal Church in the USA; and others who may be approved by the Vestry. For more information about the Holy Nativity Columbarium, please call 808-373-2131. The Youth Center & Morrett Gym The Holy Nativity facilities mauka of Nenue Place are collectively known as the Youth Center, harkening back to the days when there were as many young people in the congregation as adults -- mostly their parents and grandparents! The Morrett Gym was built with a recessed altar which could be closed off when the multi-purpose facility was being used as a gym or social space. The building included a commercial kitchen, meeting room and craft room. Adjacent were restrooms and an office for the Youth Minister. Today the complex includes Glantz Hall and Osco Field, as well as additional parking as needed. The Thrift Shop now occupies the original meeting and craft rooms. For questions regarding rental of any space in the Youth Center complex (appropriate for adult as well as youth activities) please call 808-373-2131. Holy Nativity School Established in 1949 by the Episcopal Church, Holy Nativity School encompasses early childhood learning from preschool through 6th grade. Visit their website HERE to learn more.
